Notice for Installation:
- Users should determine the way connecting to the Internet first. In case of ADSL, the account and password are required. However, if users aren¡¯t sure about the password, they¡¯d better not test on the computers, or it may disable the connection to the Internet due to the wrong password. In case of Static IP address, you should make sure that the allocated IP address to the telephone are not occupied. It¡¯s better to convert dynamic IP to static IP.
- All the hardwares, including power supply, reticle etc, should be installed properly.
- The device without Router function can¡¯t be set as ¡°NAT¡¯ or ¡°Bridge¡± mode.

Malfunction Explanation Solution
The telephone shows ¡°LOGIN SUCCEED¡± or ¡°Registered OK ¡± without dialing tone after picking up the phone Volume is too low. Please check the parameters in ¡° Voice Setting¡±, and set a louder volume. Test the volume again.
Telephone displays ¡°Call in¡± without ringing. Turn up the volume of the ring in the menu. If the setting is ok, it might be something wrong with the telephone itself.
Telephone displays ¡°Connecting¡± or ¡°Out of Service¡± sequentially. The display shows the telephone can¡¯t connect to the Soft Switch platform properly. First check if the reticle connects with LAN port correctly, then check if the indicate lamp is glittering. At last check if the configurations of the telephone are right, including configurations of network and the users¡¯ information.
Telephone displays ¡°Net Configure Error: IP Address¡±. Private addresses (the third byte) of PC port and LAN port are one same number. It causes the collision. The default IP address of PC port is 192.168.254.1/255.255.255.0. Set the private address of PC port as other private network address, you can select the IP address among followings: 192.168.0.0~192.168.255.255 172.16.0.0~172.31.255.255?????? 10.0.0.0~10.255.255.255
Internet connection mode is ADSL plus router. Every morning, both the telephone and PC cannot connect to the Internet. The company switches off the power every day, and switches it on the next day. This can make the router re-start and may fail to analyze the server domain name. Restart ADSL modem, router, and IP phone
The telephone with router works well, and the configurations are proper,but the computer which is connected with the PC port cannot connect to the Internet. Two instances: 1. If available to reach server IP address by PING command, you should check DNS configuration. 2. Not reach server IP address by PING command.
For the first instance, check if the DNS is available, and change another DNS. For the second instance, check if the network adaptor in computer is working well. If yes, change a matched rate, such as 10M FDX or 100M FDX.
The voice quality is not good. The bandwidth may be various in different network circumstance, so the user needs to modify the codec mode for terminal telephones sometimes. We don¡¯t recommend ¡°Auto select¡± mode. G.711: suitable for individuals, not for enterprises. G.729: suitable for enterprises. G.723: available for enterprises
The telephone can¡¯t be hung off.
The spring in the telephone is damaged. The telephone set needs repairing.
After login succeeds, the telephone can¡¯t make calls, prompting as ¡°you are an unknown caller¡± You haven¡¯t registered an account. Contact us and register an NP account.
Outgoing call available but incoming call unavailable
Existing IP address collision. Change the IP address of the telephone.
The line is busy when making outgoing calls. Or it doesn¡¯t show caller ID when there¡¯s incoming calls. It might be that another person has used your account. Please call our customer service center to check if your account has been used by other person.
